Roasted Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
My husband said this was the best chicken I ever made. I didn't make the stuffing I put an onion in the cavity. I put a can of chicken broth in the bottom of the pan. After the first 1 1/2 hours I took the chicken off the rack and put it in the pan. then after 1/2 hour I turned the chicken over for 1/2 hour andmade a paste of cornstarch and water and added it to the pan. Then I turned the chicken over again for 1/2 hour. When I saw the chicken broth getting low I added some more. This was the best recipe I ever found for a roast chicken. Thks for the great flavor and ideas even if I did tweak it.

Cranberry Nut Bread I

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
Just finished trying a slice of this scrumpcious bread! I found 2 recipes on this web site but this one is by far the best!! The taste is wonderful. Didn't change a thing. I had a large bag of cranberries given to me and searched here first for the best of the best.

Easy Swedish Apple Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2008
I love this recipe!! I made a mistake and put a pie crust on the bottom and it was just wonderful.I also added 1 teaspoon light brown sugar and used 6 apples. I love the cinnamon crust. The only thing is that it doesn't cook in 40 to 50 minutes. It took me 1 hour and 15 minutes so it would be crunchy. But some ovens are different than others. I have a new oven that seems to take about 10 minutes longer to cook things.

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2007
This is the best coconut shrimp I have had. We keep trying different recipes for shrimp and nothing ever did it. Who needs to spend so much money eating out to get fried shrimp when you have something like this. I tried it with the Japanese Panko bread crumbs and it was just as good as the coconut shrimp. I also used some spice to jazz it up a bit. Hats off to Linda for sharing this prize.

Little Meat Loaves

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2005
This is by far the best meat loaf recipe ever! I tweaked it a bit by making my own bread crumbs 1 cup and I also put slices of bacon on top. Just wonderful flavor and very moist. Thanks for sharing this recipe. My husband doesn't like meat loaf but loved this one.
