I made this for church, and everyone loved it. I used balsamic vinegar as others suggested. I used both strawberries and mandarin oranges, which made it nice and colorful. I added feta cheese when it was time to serve it and this too, was great. The balsamic vinegar does give the dressing a funky color as compared to using white vinegar, but the taste is worth it, as there was not a drop left. This is a definite keeper.

****** Well, my cworkers say this is a keeper and I have to agree. I've tried others, but reallike this one a lot. I couldn't find hazelnuts, so I also used pecans, which were fine. I have made many cheesecakes, but this is the first one I made that uses maple syrup. I was skeptical, but it was really great. I love this site.

I served this at our end of year BBQ, and for my dad's 75th birthday, and it was a great hit.My guests and family loved it. I didn't brush all the glaze on, as I was afraid it may be too much, so used a little more than half and added some confectioner's suger to make a white glaze and drizzled it over the top and sides. This will be a keeper in my house. I was actually asked to make another one this week. Thank you for a great recipe.
