I am sorry but this recipe just doesn't quite work. As another reviewer said, the cookies are quite dry. I followed the recipe exactly and used a non-stick cookie sheet. The cookies burnt around the edges and stuck to the pan. The pan should be greased! The taste of the cookies was good but DRY. There is not enough butter in this recipe.

These are awesome! I added almost 2 tbsp of lemon juice and next time will add more (or more zest) to up the lemon flavor. Mine came out very cake-like but I mixed extra on purpose since I prefer a cake-like cookie. I also substitued butter for margarine because of the saturated fat. Very light. Delicious!

Rich and delicious. Definitely not something I'd want to eat everyday but it was a big hit with dinner guests. I added some French fried onions to it as well as sprinkling them on top.
