I'm 23 and have been baking since I was 11 years old! I started off with easy to prepare cookie mixes. I remember in 6th grade I made peanut butter cookies and took them to school for a picnic. They were all gone! So then started my love of baking and trying to impress people with my craft, which has improved vastly over the years. I have an incredible family and boyfriend and spend lots of time at concerts, shopping and printing out recipes! I love anything Italian or Mexican. I love cooking casseroles. My favorite one is probably Burrito Pie, which is one I found on here years ago. My boyfriend loves that one and always requests it. As much as I can cook, my favorite thing to do is bake! Cookies, cupcakes, cake, pies, muffins! A odd thing though, I'm not a big chocolate eater, which baffles me! I like it, but I'd take anything vanilla, cinnamon, lemon, fruit over chocolate baked goods. Of all things chocolate that I have made, I do appreciate the taste of Choc/Choc cake! But I do like my cinnamon goodies! My grandmother Cecilia and I share recipes with one another and when I print out a recipe I made and love, I will get a copy for her. I love that woman so much and adore talking to her. It's nice to be able to share my love of baking and cooking with her! We have not baked together yet...but I have baked with my other grandmother at the holidays! She gave me her amazing Texas brownie recipe, and taught me how to cook homemade Italian sauce and meatballs. Every woman in my family are great cooks. My sister is still learning! :) I create my own recipes. I invented the skillet parmesean zucchini with garlic and butter! My family loves that and my grandmother Cece loves to make it now! I'm great at thinking of cookie recipes. So far I have made Chocolate coconut cookies (for my mother), cinnamon cinnamon chip cookies and oatmeal peanut butter cookies! Next up... Cakes! I will post my recipes on here soon! Ugh...I made these sugar cookies that I found on here and they flattened out. They were horrible! I also made a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting that nobody wanted to touch. As far as cooking, I haven't made any tragedies! So far...
