Mom's Quick Pasta Sauce

Didnt have the dry onion soup mix but it was still tasty. Added button mushroom and lots of diced yellow onion. Had it with vermicelli pasta. Yummmy! View pic.

I omitted the milk and I used the juice from the chicken instead. Added some oregano, basil and parsley just to get abit of italian taste. My husband really liked it. Went well with mash potatoes and BBQ Chicken. View pic.

Easy BBQ Bake

OMG! It was the first time I tried roasting a chicken and I chose this recipe. Really glad I chosed this, it was a hit, gone in less than ½hr. I used whole chicken so it took longer time to bake. Definately a keeper. Posted picture for this recipe.

Basic Mashed Potatoes

Really good.. really basic. I omitted the milk and added more melted butter instead. Didnt peel off the skin coz dont wanna waste the nutrition. The dish was complimented with Easy BBQ Bake Chic and Old Fashioned Brown Gravy from this site. My mom liked it, so does my family so Im givin' it 5*. Check out pic.

Ultimate French Toast

Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Seriously, I didnt have the chance to taste it. It was gone in less than two hrs so I guess it must have tasted good, just a simple basic recipe and I made it with chicken and mushroom filling. Check out pic.

Fudgy Brownies I

Grandma Minnie's Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

Excellent recipe! My husband gave two thumbs up! I made it in two shapes, big round shape and the other I cut it into small square pieces. He preferred the square ones. I used Delilah Frosting which I got from this site. Definately a keeper. View photos.

Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies

I followed this recipe to the T and I can say that this is a keeper. I didnt really like it on the first day but wait till u try it the next day and it gets even better. My husband ate it on the 2nd day and he really liked it, my colleagues too. I used olive oil and 1 teaspn baking powder. I posted photo for this recipe. ;)

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

I have been searching for vanilla pudding mix just to try out this recipe and I was so excited. I overbaked the first tray so it turned out too crispy, the rest was very chewy. My niece & nephew liked them so much but the adults find them too sweet. Its a good cookie recipe.

Never, Never Fail Pie Pastry

Since Muslims are not allowed to take lard so I substituted it with butter and it turned out great. The recipe was very easy to follow and it was my first time making a pie. I used chicken & mushroom cream with chicken cheese sausage. Yummy!

Did a little bit of changes to suit Malaysian taste. Sauteed onion & garlic, mixed in canned sardine ( with tomato sauce) added in eggs & lastly macaroni. Family liked it, its a keeper.

Amusement Park Cornbread

I didnt have fresh milk so I used condensed milk mixed in hot water. I used cream corn and I guess it was too much cause it became like bread pudding. The taste was good and it was filling too. My family liked it and I am taking it to the office tomorrow. ( View picture)

Well.. this is something new to me and my family. It looks like naan bread ( we eat a lot of these in Malaysia) and the texture was a bit like it but with potato taste. We had it with sardine in tomato sauce. Curry will do fine aswell. Overall, will make it again. (View picture)

Best Ever Muffins

I used butter instead of veg oil, used 2 eggs instead of 1 and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence for flavor. Put blueberry jam in the middle. Good recipe. :)

Egg Fried Rice

Fried rice is actually common in Malaysia. Tips: to make this recipe tastier, saute chopped onion and garlic ( more garlic )then add eggs, stir and add oyster sauce for extra flavor. Pic posted for this recipe.
