Oven-Roasted Asparagus

Very good. I didnt add lemon or garlic but i would next time. I put a little too much salt but that was my fault. 10 mins in my oven at 425 made them come out perfect.

Garlic and Herb Lamb

This is really tasty. I made this for my first lamb roast ever and i must add that i dont have much experience cooking. Cooking meat scares me but i decided to face that fear with this recipe. I used all the ingredients listed but also added fresh thyme chopped on top. With the suggestion of another reviewer, i added olive oil to the rub to make it easier to spread on the lamb leg. I also cooked it at 450 for 15 mins to brown and then the rest of the time at 350. Next time i would use a bit less salt but i did use coarse sea salt instead of normal salt. Maybe 1 teaspoon instead next time. Overall,, very good! I usually have a problem with making meat too bland but this was great!

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

I did not like this marinade. I followed it exactly and i dont know if i did something wrong but all i could taste was balsamic viniger. Too sour and it didnt complement the meat. I even marrinated it for 2 days. I won't be making it again.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Very good cornbread! I doubled the recipe and out it in a 8 x 11 inch pan.The only change i made was cutting down the sugar by 1/3 cup after the recipe was doubled making it have a total of 1 cup of sugar. This was plenty sweet and gave the cornbread a sweet but savory taste. MMMM.

Chewy Coconut Cookies

I made these cookies today and I thought they were very very good. My boyfriend loves coconut and he thought they were good as well. They were nice and soft and chewy.Yum! Next time i might add something else into them like chocolate chips.

Garlic Bread Fantastique

I made this garlic bread with pasta for dinner last night. I mixed the parmasan cheese into the butter mixture and spread that on and topped it with a mix of shredded cheese that had garlic and herbs in it. Very tasty! We both loved it!

Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

I loved this pasta recipe. I couldn't find Italian turkey sausage so i bought reduced fat italian pork sausage which was tasty. I used about 10 leaves of fresh basil instead of 20 because it seemed to be too muich as i was trying it. Additionally, I added skim milk and light cream cheese to make a bit more of a sauce and seasoned with italian seasoning spice, salt, pepper, garlic powder and half a jalepeno. I used everything else in the recipe as stated. I made it with garlic bread and my boyfreind and i really enjoyed it. :) Will make again.

Fluffy Pancakes

I dont really like pancakes much but these were very good. I made the dry mix and brought it camping and then mixed the eggs and milk in when i got there. Very simple and tasty breakfast. I also added fresh blueberries to the top as tehy were cooking. MMMM!

Rave Reviews Coconut Cake

I made this as cupcakes for an Easter dinner at my boyfriends house. The cupcakes were great and the icing was fantastic. They got many compliments. I left the vanilla extract out because i wanted the icing to be very white. mmmmm yum!

Rich Chocolate Frosting

I loved this frosting. I used it on One Bowl Chocolate Cake III. The consistency was perfect and it was very soft but not runny so it stuck to the cake perfectly. I would definately use this frosting recipe again. I also put a combination of coconut, icing sugar, milk and butter in the middle of the cake before frosting it with this icing. Fantastic!

Luck 'O The Irish Brownie

These brownies are fantastic! I used 1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips instead of unsweetened chocolate. Because of this I used 1 1/2 cups of sugar instead of 2 cups. Amazing and I will be making them again and again.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

I thought this was good but somethings i did not like about this recipe. The cream sauce that you make at the end was very bland since it was just cream so we didnt like it. We ended up adding shredded cheese to it to make it taste better. Also, the white wine in the pan with the chicken gave the bottoms of the chicken a slimy texture. i would make this again but cook the chicken without the wine in the pan and serve the wine sauce on the side. Good flavour but needs alterations.
