Peach Cobbler II
I followed the adjustment suggested by other reviewers and this turned out wonderfully. I doubled the peaches and cinnamon, used only 1 cup sugar, added a teaspoon of vanilla, used a 9x13 pan and baked it for an hour. I also did not have shortening so I substituted margarine and eliminated the salt. The butter with boiling water sounded weird, but it worked. The first time I made this we took it to a church picnic and neither my husband or I got to taste it because it disappeared so fast. It was the only dessert that the dish was scrapped clean (even the brownies had leftovers). We invited company over specifically so I could make it again and we could try it ourselves.
