I snow ski, team rope, and decorate cakes. Mom of two, ages 6 and 4. Grew up and still live in Northern CO where my family has a farm and feedlot which my husband manages. I love to get them to try new things- things that they always though they would hate, but end up really enjoying. My mom and I cook dinner together several times a week- we try new dishes all the time, rely on many old favorites, but the tradition is that we cook, and eat, as an extended family. I bake all of my cakes, fillings and icings from scratch. I tend to not follow any recipe to a "T"- and while I have great cooking instincts, every now and again that results in a flop ;)
