Jewish Apple Cake I
YUM! I made some changes per suggestions from others. I mixed the apple slices with cinnamon and sugar (let it sit for 5 mins or so) prior to layering. I didn't measure out the cinnamon and sugar, I just went by how it looked and tasted. I also used rum instead of orange juice. This was absolutely delicious. Tasted best the next day or two. But it tasted great the first day too!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins
This was a great and super simple recipe. We don't like crumb topping on our muffins in general, so we just had them plain. I only adjustment was 1/2 t. lemon extract. I agree with previous reviewers that the batter is nice and thick making nice muffin tops! (these would also be good with white chocolate chips....mmmm...)

White Frosting
This is my favorite frosting recipe of all time. I have a similar one that I got from my grandmother that I have been using for the past 25 years. It always works and tastes great as long as you beat it long enough to get fluffy. I am not sure what others are doing wrong but if I could make it consistently as an eight year old girl, I consider it a pretty good recipe.
