Frosted Banana Bars

Moist and yummy. These was quick and easy to make and everyone asked for seconds. I used the Cream Cheese Frosting II from this site and it was perfect.

Fruit-Filled White Cake

Butter Cream Frosting II

Good basic frosting. Used butter instead of margarine. I have made both as a vanilla and a chocolate frosting (simply by replacing 1 cup of the powdered sugar with cocoa).

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

This is really good basic crust for my savory pies and quiches. I sometimes use 1/2 cup cake or pastry flour for an extra flaky crust.

Bacon Quiche Tarts

These are tasty little tarts! I made my own pie crust but otherwise followed the recipe as given. Made some without crust and they came out great as well. Thanks Donna for this easy, yummy treat.

Health Nut Blueberry Muffins

Really good muffin. I followed the recipe for the most part - subbed the white sugar for 1/2 cup brown and some of the white flour for whole wheat. They were very tasty and I will be making them again soon!

Honey Oatmeal Bread II

Good stuff! I followed the recipe as written and it came out perfect. Makes delicious french toast if you can keep it long enough (it was tempting to eat it all straight out of the oven). Thanks for this one - it's a keeper!

These are terrific! I used unsalted butter and didn't add all the milk. The dough is soft and very easy to work with (but don't overwork). Delicious!

Mrs Espy's Enchilada Sauce

Good enchilada sauce base. I added cumin, pinch of red pepper flakes, pinch oregano and used 4 cloves garlic (instead of garlic powder). Much better than the canned stuff!

Best Ever Banana Bread

This is a wonderful recipe. I have made it as written before but this evening I replaced the white sugar with brown sugar and added some vanilla. It gave it a really nice flavor. It may be the "Best Ever Banana Bread"!

Stovetop Granola

First time I followed the recipe and it was super yummy. The second time around I added the fruit and nuts before the granola cooled completely and cut into bars, and it was still terrific.

Mediterranean Black Olive Bread

Delicious bread! I took others advice on lowering the oven temp. I used spicy black and green marinated olives from whole foods olive bar - gave the bread a little extra kick.
