I searched high and low for real pretzel flavor. This is it. Most pretzel recipes I've found taste too much like bread. These taste like real pretzels. I'm made this several times. People love these. I always get complements. I've made the dough with a bread machine and also with my Kitchen Aid mixer -- both with great results. Follow Kitchen Aid's dough prep. instructions. I doubled the recipe when I used the mixer.
