I've made this for new years eve party and also a girls get together, it got rave reviews both times! Others complained about this being a messy recipe but i disagree. It took about 20 minutes to prep 2 packs of smokies. I sliced the entire pack of bacon into thirds to save time. i added to a crockpot after they were cooked. Definitely a winner!

I liked this recipe but my boyfriend didn't, so i gave it 4 stars. It was much spicier than i imagined, but still tasted good. We both like spice but he complained it was too spicy. I used the full amount of broth and let it cook down so it wasn't too thin. Since I liked it so much, I will try to revamp it to suit both our tastes next time. Will definitely make again!
