Eat Michigan Salad
This recipe is outstanding! I thought the maple syrup would make the dressing too sweet or give it an odd taste. Instead it is down right plain yummy. Thank you for sharing!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
We had this soup for dinner tonight and it was wonderful, despite my mistakes. I used a combinationo of chicken and vegetable broth because that was what I had on hand. I followed the advice of others and did not add salt.... mistake # 1. I think because I did not use bouillon it needed more salt. My second mistake was letting it cook longer than stated in the recipe. The potatoes were too soft. Next time, I will use broth, but otherwise follow the recipe directions more closely. Thanks for a great soup.

Balsamic Tortellini
This was a really good fast meal. I wanted to use ingredients I had on hand, so I substituted ham for pancetta. I also sauted a clove of garlic and sliced mushrooms with the onion and ham. I added some frozen peas to the saute mixture just before tossing in the tortellini. The balsamic vinegar added a nice crisp taste. Thanks for the recipe.
