About this Cook
I am a Contract Paralegal and I also like to write true Short Stories about people I know, things that have happened to them and me and what I learned from the experiences of knowing them personally.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake cakes of all kinds, meat dishes(prime rib, roast, 1001 ways to make chicken, and seafood) and I'm always looking for a great dinner dish to have something different for dinner.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love prime rib and so does everybody else I know and that is what I have for Christmas Day dinner. My family also likes Lime Jello Salad or Cranberry Salad so I make it for them. Then of course some type of fancy homemade bread or bakery bought and delicious homemade Chocolate Fudge for Christmas and I just bake and cook and bake and cook all day and all night long.
My cooking triumphs
My family just loved the Corned Beef Brisket, the Chicken Fried Tenders, the Cheesecake, and Aunt Teeny's Chocolate Fudge the first time I made it from this web site.
My cooking tragedies
Oh,my-----I made a cake in a brand new tube pan I bought and placed the cake in my mother's oven and it stuck, stuck, stuck, stuck, stuck to the pan. What a flop! Her oven is slow, slow, slow, to bake so now I have to watch it when I use her oven and if the cake recipe says 35-40 minutes it's more like 55 minutes to an hour.

Corn Casserole II
I made this once and I fell in love with it. It is a very good way to make a dish of corn attractive when being served and it is delicious.I used Miracle Maize cornbread mix with this recipe. I will definitely keep this recipe on hand for whenever I wish to have a delightful corn dish in which to serve family and friends.

Banana Banana Bread
I love this recipe. The bread rose in the pan the way it should appear and the outside crust had a beautiful brown appearance. When I sliced the bread the crust looked like bread crust on a loaf of wheat bread. This recipe will definitely be a keeper to use whenever I have bananas and they are beginning to ripen.
