Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies
My husband said these were the best cookies I ever made..........he who usually doesn't say much about my cooking. He took half to work and he said they were gone in a flash. I doubled the recipe and made 2 pans of larger cookies. I followed the recipe as written except had to cut the flour by about 1/4 of a cup because I ran out. Looked like a perfect cookie. Had to cook several minutes longer....probably because they were bigger. Took them out while they still looked a bit soft and they were perfect. I could just barely taste the peanut butter though.

Chicken and Mushroom Chowder
This was delicious- like a chicken stew. Seemed really thin at first but then the rice puffed up and the whole thing thickened. Added some leftover peas- could add anything you like! Might try some different/more seasoning next time. And there will be a next time!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip
YUMMY! Use 1 can beef broth, 1 can beef consomme, 1 soup can water, 1 envelope dried onion soup mix and throw in veggies that I had around (celery, carrots, onion). We've had this several times using whatever roast is on sale. Great au jus to dip your sandwich in, my husband ate the broth like soup. Have taken the crock pot to my mom's for dinner and everyone enjoyed it. We use crusty rolls and provolone cheese and melt it under the broiler. Mmmmmm...
