Cousin Cosmo's Greek Chicken

This was good. I didn't have fresh tomatoes on hand so I used some Italian stewed canned tomatoes. Smelled very tasty when cooking it as well. It was very easy except pounding the chicken, I always get impatient when doing that. I'd make it again though!

Grilled Lemon Herb Pork Chops

This is great! The first time I made it, I only had time to marinate it for about an hour. So it was ok but could have been tastier, I figured. The second time I made it, I marinated it for almost 24 hours. It made them very moist and tasty! Add a little extra garlic! Yum!!!!!

this was great! I had to add a little bit (1/2 to 1 tsp) more milk than it called for, and a little extra corn syrup. It really helps to paint it on with a flat paint brush!!!

Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie

This was good but very sweet. I made the Pie Crust IV recipe from this site and it was good with it. I thought I had bourbon, but I didn’t so I used Kahlua instead. The pie took much longer to bake than the recipe stated, I cooked it an extra half hour longer, at least. The middle was still a little bit runny, but it was tasty. Next time try it again I will use bourbon. Definitely a nice sweet twist to the normal pecan pie.

Savory Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

I made these for a party, and although they were all eaten, I thought they were good, but not 100% perfect. I thought they could have used a little bit more flavor, although I don't know what. I did add 2 cloves of garlic to the recipe. I will make them again.

Marinated Tuna Steak

very good! This was our first time to make tuna steaks. The marinade was excellent, although I didn't have the fresh parsley and oregano on hand. It was still very tasty though. Next time I will plan ahead and buy the herbs ahead of time (or grow them.) I always prefer to use fresh herbs. Keep in mind the tuna steaks should be a little pink in the middle. I was a little paranoid about this, but they will dry out fast if you don't leave them a little pink. I cooked mine about 6 min on each side. Perfect!

Famous Butter Chicken

This wasn’t bad- very tender, but a little bit bland in my opinion. It just wasn’t anything special. However, one thing that may have affected it is that I did not have any ‘butter’ crackers on hand, so I used some kind of whole grain crackers I had, so maybe that affected the flavor. The whole grain crackers had a bit of sweetness flavor to them, and it smelled delicious in the oven, but just didn’t taste too ‘special’. If I try the recipe again, I’ll buy some butter crackers for it.
