I live in small town Wisconsin. It's just me and my husband at home right now. We both love cooking but would rather not stand on our heads all day to do it. I love to bring food to any family function, even if it's just a day on the lake. My husband is the better of us at the stove, but I love to bake. Cookies, cakes, candies. If I could make a living off commission baking, I'd be there! This year I made more Christmas candy then ever before and it was a blast! Some of it didn't turn out, but there's always someone to eat up the mistakes (usually, my husband). I love my Mom's spaghetti. It was the first thing she taught me to cook. When I was in college it was my favorite comfort food. Now I've taught my husband how to make it just like Mom. He loves to make it for me after a particularly bad day at work. It seems to make everything better.
