Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles
After briefly chilling the cookie dough in the refrigerator, I used a small cookie scoop and dropped a few balls at a time into a gallon ziploc bag filled with the cinnamon/sugar and coated the balls gently. 8 minutes was perfect. Cooled on the pan for a couple of minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. They are the best snickerdoodles I have ever eaten, and ridiculously amazing while still hot/warm.

Roasted Vegetables
I like adding fresh mushrooms. Amounts and types of veggies can vary with excellent results. I start with root veggies for 15 minutes, and then mix in the rest of the veggies for the remaining 20 minutes. Puree leftovers or leave chunky with some stock and water for a very satisfying soup, especially when paired with fresh cornbread.

Garlic Bread Fantastique
I use this with any kind of sliced bread I have on hand, and it works great. Scaled down to 3 (original recipe halved), with 5 slices of bread, I have just the right amount for my family of 2 adults and 2 small children. I also omit the sage and cut the oregano to half. My picky kids love it.
