Spinach Cheese Strata

Excellent. I crunched up the Chex mix in my hands before adding it to the mixture. This helped with an even distribution. I would add some Pablano peppers next time to give it a Mexican flare. We all loved it a lot

Very yummy but I would suggest adding more apples and a little less breading.

Soso. The bread was just a little to dry and bold for my taste. If you like wheat breads a lot you would like this one.

Chunky Raspberry Applesauce

This was excellent. It was sweet and sour and the same time. I would just use I little less Raspberry Preserves. It is just a tad to sweet.

Enchilada Sauce

Excellent sauce. My husband is Mexican and is used to authentic Mexican food and he loved this. We changed the serving size to 6. We used this with "Tacos in Pasta Shells" by grannycancook on Allrecipes. It was the perfect Mexican meal.

Tacos in Pasta Shells

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2009
We loved this. We used 8oz cream cheese as well as many of the viewers. We also diced up some peppers really small and added it to the meat mixture. We then used an Enchilada Sauce from Allrecipes posted by Anna Marie. That was toooo die for. We changed the serving size of her sauce to 6 servings. It was perfect. Then topped with lettuce, tomato, black olives and sour cream. We might try using Doritoes on the top next time instead of the tortilla chips.

Chicken Scampi II

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2009
I thought this was very good but added extras. I added extra lemon juice, butter and the herbs. I also added white cooking wine. I served this with Asparagas but I think the pasta itself needs any of the following: sauteed peppers, artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes and/or capers. I think any of these would give the meal just a little more depth.

Beef Stroganoff II

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
This was a good recipe. I did change it up a little. I marinated the steak in red cooking wine, salt, pepper, a little lemon juice and chopped onion. I then sauteed it all in a little butter. I then did the rest of the recipe as follows except I did add a little milk to thin it down some. Good though.

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler

This was wonderful and very easy. I also doubled the top crumble part like others had suggested. I am glad I did. I do not think a single batch would be anywhere near enough. Excellent. Thank you for this one.

Hamburger Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2007
It was wonderful and hearty. Great for a cold day or when you are serving a bunch of men. I used one can of beef broth and the rest of the water to equal the right amount. I also sauteed the onion then added the beef to the same pan. I only used half of the taco seasoning and it was a perfect mild spice with a little kick. I also added some tomato paste and a little ketchup. We will have this lots of times to come.

I did like the layers of this dish however, it was very dry and I even used less hamburger then it called for. I will make it again but will need to add a little more moisture somehow.

Family-Style French Toast

This was very good. I used regular white and wheat bread instead of what it called for. I also did not soak it for 5 minutes. I dipped it in and then put it in the dish. I added 5 extra minutes to the time as well.

Bananerberry Smoothie

First of all the serving size is wrong. I needed 4 servings so I doubled it and had enough for each person to have multiple refills. We also added some orange juice on one of the rounds and it was WAY better with that.

Cashew Avocado Chicken Salad

I would give this one a five star but the dill was not a good flavor to add to this. I will definitly make this again and again but without the dill. I used this on top of a lettuce salad as well as wrapped in a warm tortilla. Very good and easy.
