About this Cook
I'm 17, and have loved baking muffins ever since I was 9. Mami and I "invented" our own sugarless muffin with lots of whole-wheat, and joghurt. ...the muffins ARE sweet, but with sweetner. I can't remember when I last used sugar for muffins!! I really started to cook last year when my mother suddenly became ill, which lasted 2 months. In that time I learned to cook for the family and allrecipies sure came in handy! The first time I cooked raw meat I couldn't eat it afterwards. Now I'm getting better... thankfully.
My favorite things to cook
Muffins, of course; Desserts, chocolate ones in particular; Salads; Chicken;
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our annual cookie house. We decorate it with candy, chocolates, gummi bears, cookies, ect.
My cooking triumphs
Getting a 3 course meal together when company came. I made these little molten chocolate cupcakes from allrecipies... and the company thought they were excellent.
My cooking tragedies
Whipped cream that turned to butter. Burnt cookies. And a cake batter the turned up-side down... literally. I got my dog to lick the remains before I worked with wads of paper towels, a bottle of soap, and elbowgrease.

Clone of a Cinnabon
Today is Pentecost Monday, it's raining, and all the stores are closed here in Switzerland. Perfect for cinnamon buns, espcially these clones. They are excellent, as always. However, I only had 1/2 cup brown sugar so I was forced to expreiment. I spread the left-over half of the dough with butter, white sugar, and sprinkled it with amaretto. The liquer dribbled out when I cut the roll, but the taste was fine. Anyhow, I recommend these to any cinnamon bun fan.

Chocolate Mousse Cake II
This mousse is quite wonderful. Not too chocolaty and not too creamy. I was rather disappointed with the cake however. It was flat, and tasted - um - flat. I wouldn't make the cake again, but I'll be mixing up the mousse. PS There sure is ALOT of egg needed!
