Coconut Macaroons III

These are good, but yes I do agree the bakery are better. I wanted to make more than 12 as the recipe called for. So I tripled the recipe and wow do I have cookies until there is no more macaroons! I also have to bake them for 17 minutes. I did use Vanilla as called for and Almond Extract... I will make again, but will not even double the recipe. Enjoy this recipe.

Grandma's Slow Cooker Vegetarian Chili

I made this for our Board Meeting serving 16 and it was great, BUT... I needed to add a lot more pepper, (I used Cayanne) and followed the recipe as it was listed. They all loved it!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

This was a huge sucess! I made this for some friends, they all loved it. 3 asked for the recipe. I did add 1 1/2 cups of Peanut Butter, also did use the Oreo pie crust, and did add the hot fudge at the bottom of the crust and the top of the pie. I also did freeze the pie for over 2 hours.

Upside Down Turkey

It was OK....I did enjoy all brown skin all the way around. Will I do it again? Yup why not.... I only like the wings anyway, it was all moist. LIVE A LITTLE TRY SOMETHING NEW!

Baked Pineapple Casserole

Wow! Very Good... I did not have crushed pineapple so I just used canned and crushed my own. I used a french bread in place of the white loaf bread. And I double the receipe for a potluck Hawaiian theme. It was all gone!

Candied Kielbasa

I followed the recipe to a "T" and it was just wonderful. I made this for a potluck at work and it was gone! Everyone loved it. I did not first cook my Kielbasa (its the holidays, time for fat) and I heated it on the stove and then took it to work the next day and heated it in a crock pot for work. A SURE HIT

Make Ahead French Toast

Great! We had company over the day after Thanksgiving and everyone just loved it! I used Heavy Whip Cream instead of Half & Half. and I made some with Pecans and some with out. I used 2 9x13 pans single layer. Next time I will try using Cookie Sheets so I can get more on the tray. I could of used a whole loaf of french bread, I had lots of egg mixture left. I am sending 2 pictures of what it looked like. I true HIT!

Best Ever Popcorn Balls

Wow do you know how much 5 qts are? That was way to much popcorn! Next time I will only pop 3 bags. This was my second time making popcorn balls, I know the kids will love um. I liked them and will make them again. I did use green food coloring, what a great idea for Halloween, with orange ribbion for the tie. My husband said I did not ball them up tight enough.

Butter Cream Frosting II

Very Good. I only added about 3 1/2 Cups of the powered sugar, I used butter instead of Marg and I used Butter shortning. Not over sweet at all. I will make again and again! Thanks
