Chocolate Torte
I made this torte a week ago for a co-workers birthday. She wanted chocolate on chocolate on chocolate. I found this recipe & thought that it sounded pretty darn good. I didn't have time to test this out on my family, so my first try was for all my co-workers. All I can say is FANTASTIC!!! Everyone loved this cake. So much so that one of the girls requested this for her birthday next month & another one said the frosting is much better than her chocolate frosting which she felt was quite good. I followed the recipe to the letter. There is no need to change anything. I mixed the cakes in my food processor & baked them the day before. When cooled I wrapped them in plastic wrap & left them on my counter. Whipped up the filling & frosting the next day & finished it off. I did cut up a 50g milk chocolate bar & sprinkle on top just for looks. This is a definite keeper & I would rate more if I could. Thanks so much for the recipe, it's awesome!!

Creamed Eggs
I just made this for my supper. I made half the recipe, but I slowly added the milk until it reached a good consistency. About 2/3 cup of milk for half recipe. I made a few additions, tasted sauce before putting on eggs & toast found it a bit bland, so I added a dash of Garlic Salt & about 1/3 to 1/2 cup of finely grated cheddar cheese & let melt into sauce. This made a nice white cheese sauce. Was in the mood for scrambled eggs so I made those instead of boiled, all in all turned out to be pretty good. Would probably be very good over poached eggs on a biscuit!!

Steak Stir-Fry
Wow, we just made this & it was, as my husband put it "AWESOME", coming from my husband this is very high praise since he always says to new recipes it's "alright" or "okay". We left out the ginger, personal preference. Used frozen veggies, but will definitely use fresh next time, nothing beats fresh produce. Frozen certainly would do in a pinch. Make this as is & it is amazing. A definite keeper!!
