Pear and Blue Cheese Pastry Triangles

I loved the onion, blue cheese & pear flavor but there was not enough "room" in the puff pastry triangle to get more than a tidbit of taste. I'll take another reviewer's hint and use puff pastry cups next time. Or maybe a light pizza crust...

Easy Grape Salad

Delicious. I added a tiny bit of milk to thin it as the mixture came out a little thick. More of a dessert than a salad, but yummy just the same!

Chocolate Snowballs

Mine were crumbly/grainy. Had to bake them longer to see the cracks on top, maybe that was my problem. Not sure where I went wrong.

Rosemary Roasted Pork Tenderloin

Pork tenderloin is a favorite in my family so I am always looking for new recipes and this one is now at the top of the list. So moist and flavorful. I used apple cider, cut down on the garlic a bit and grilled the tenderloin. Yummy.

Sea Bass Cuban Style

Loved this! Definitely worth using Sea Bass. Great flavor; served with crusty bread fora hearty meal. Might cut back on the green olives next time only because my kid isn't crazy about them. I'll make this again for sure!

Yin-Yang Salmon

I was dubious about using that much hot sauce but since no other review mentioned it, I thought it would be ok. Should have gone with my instincts. I like spicy foods, but the hot sauce overpowered the flavor of the fish. May try again with about a tablespoon of hot sauce.

Waldorf Salad III

Yummy, but made too much dressing. I used cool whip and did not add any sugar so it was not too sweet. Will make again with less dressing (or more apples!).

Unfortunately, my daughter chose this recipe for a German class project. Though I followed the recipe, the 'custard' never got thick enough to spread. I ended up at the 24 hour market getting premade pudding to spread. There was no instruction on when to add the second measurement of vanilla and the chocolate siezed up. She was crying and I was not happy.

Ginger Scallops

Though the ginger/wine/cream combo was tasty, this was not a favorite. One minute is not long enough to cook the scallops and they drew so much moisture that the sauce was watery. I might try again and would sear the scallops first as suggested by others.

Spring Salad

So tasty and pretty, too! I used golden raisins and dried cranberries as suggested. Blanched the broccoli for a few seconds--really makes the color pop. Will makes this again and again!
