I'm married and have 3 kids. I'm lucky to be a stay at home mom. And I am starting up a daycare in my house. I'm a little bit of a freak when it comes to cooking, I have to have a recipe and I have to measure everything.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook. But I LOVE to bake. I would bake all day long if I could. My husband is diabetic so I use Splenda instead of sugar.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We love pasta but have had to cut back. My husband has many favorites that I make and I enjoy making food for him. My children are tricky but they will eat when they are hungry if they do not like what is for dinner.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumph came at Thanksgiving 2007. My son fell and broke his leg the night before Thanksgiving and my mother-in-law ended up in the hospital, she was supposed to help me make my first Thanksgiving dinner. I had never made a full Thanksgiving dinner by myself before this. I did it all and everything was ready at the same time and was hot and it was good. The turkey, potatoes, stuffing, salad and pies were great.
My cooking tragedies
I have had some cooking tragedies from my perspective but my husband has liked them. I don't remember specifics. I've blocked them out.
