About this Cook
I'm a stay at home mom to 2 boys. Married for 6 years to my high school sweetheart. I love cooking and trying new things to make!
My favorite things to cook
Different types of pastas, (hoping to make my own one day.), I love to make soups, anything in the crock pot, roasts, grilling.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I host St. Patrick's dinner for mine and my husbands family each year even though we're not Irish. I love cooking 3 large corned beefs and cabbage along with the potatoes and other things each year. I also love making tons of appetizers for all the holidays I don't host.
My cooking triumphs
I make this turkey sausage, pasta, white wine thing that I always bring to a friend when they have a baby. I've been asked by each one for the recipe because they absolutely love it!
My cooking tragedies
Pies! For whatever reason I can't make a pie to save my life! I've tried many times but think I'm going to put a hold on it for a while and focus on what I'm good at!

Asparagus Strata
I really do love this recipe but I made a few changes to it. I added tomato for some extra flavor and I also used a combination of cheeses. I make this when I'm having people over for brunch and they love it!

Super Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
These flew off the serving dish! I altered the recipe a bit. Instead of small mushrooms I bought the extra large mushrooms (the largest package they had). As suggested I used less spinach (about 1/4 of the package.) I also used fresh sausage without the casing. One last addition was to chop up about 6 baby bella mushrooms and toss that in with the mixture. My husband who isn't even a fan of sausage loved these!

Deviled Eggs II
I made these for a Thanksgiving appetizer but tripled the recipe. (Big family.) They came out so good and were the first appetizer gone. My 3 and 1 year old boys were licking the bowl clean of the mixture. I added a bit more mayo as suggested.
