Truly delicious easy brownie recipe. Cakey and just the prefect amount of icing. I did add another tablespoon of honey to the icing because it was dry and crumbly but otherwise perfect! These were a real hit at work!

Banana Oatmeal Cookie

SUch a FANTASTIC soft, satisfying cookie. Bursting with banana flavor and DELICIOUS with chocolate chips in it! I modified it with 1/2 whole wheat flour, 1/2 splenda and they were just still so fantastic. So delicious they could have been lightened up further and still tasted sinful. I am going to figure out how to cut back on the shortening next time- maybe applesauce or light butter?

Pumpkin Bar Icing

I used this recipe on a carrot cake and put in 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice and it was the creamiest, perfect sweetness and flavor icing i've ever had! I had some leftover icing and used it on cinnamon rolls the next morning for breakfast. SINFUL! I also used 1/3 less fat cream cheese and it was still great. It does soften up quickly so i wouldn't recommend trying to decorate with it.

Lite Carrot Cake

Excellent recipe! Totally delicious with great flavor and sweetness, and is straightforward to make. It is very moist and dense. I added 3/4 cup raisins and made it in 2- 9 inch cake pans. I used one of the cream cheese icing recipes with 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice mixed in and it was HEAVENLY! Just make sure you like a more dense cake if you are making this.

Indian Chapati Bread

Perfect chappati. So easy to make, and it was so much fun!! I added cumin seeds to the dough and it just totally brought everything together and complemented the indian food i served with it very well. I will always make this every time I make indian food now. It's too easy and way too good.

Indian Eggplant - Bhurtha

At first i passed on this recipe because i thought it would be too much work to broil and peel. Was I wrong!!! SUPER easy recipe. We had an indian night and this by far was our favorite dish. Perfect soft consistency. Pick 2 small eggplants instaed of a large one because it will be more tender and not have the bitter flavor some eggplants get when they're too big. Perfect spices, and the onions are amazing.

Bangan ka Bhurta (Indian Eggplant)

needs more spices. there is another eggplant recipe on here which is much better. the texture was good though, but too more work using the microwave and oven, instead of just broiling the eggplant whole in tthe oven for 30 min.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Incredible recipe- tasttes very authentic and the sauce is SOOO fantastic!! definitely cut down the salt, but otherwise perfect. mild-mod spice, which can be adjusted to taste. We ate the dish way too quickly, i wish i had leftovers!!!

Black Bottom Cupcakes I

absolutely the best cupcake recipe around... I made mine in empty ice cream cones instead of cupcake liners, and then iced them with butter cream icing. they were FANTASTIC! Chocolatey, moist cakes with amazing flavor and texture, and the filling tastes like chocolate chip cheesecake! i actually had leftover filling and just baked it alone and they made little mini cheesecakes-oh my GOD was it good! Again, STRONGLY recommend this recipe, i know i will never look for another chocolate cupcake recipe again---THIS IS IT!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

This is the best chocolaty chocolate moist rich cake you will ever eat. Great with or without icing. I made it with a chocolate ganache icing from this website. I can't tell you how fabulous this cake was. The texture is soft, moist, spongy, and is the perfect amount of chococolatey. I used mini chocolate chips and i was very pleased at how they blended in with the inherent texture of the cake. Again, STRONGLY recommend this recipe and i don't think i'll ever make any other chocolate bundt cake recipe other than this one ever again. Enjoy!

Marinated Wild Salmon

this was PHENOMENAL!!!! I just dumped all the ingredients in a big plastic bag and marinated the salmon 6 hours and it was SOOOO delicious!!! very fresh, rich tasting. I added the juice of 2 limes instead of lemon and added about 2 tsps of chili pepper. I used regular balsamic instead of white and it still all came out fabulous! I grilled mine in a pan and cooked the remaining marinade in a small sauce pan until it boiled and added a little cornstarch to thicken it- truly made the dish!

The Best Lemon Bars

These lemon bars are just PHENOMENAL. Easy, and they have made me FAMOUS at christmas time. They have just enough lemon, are soft, buttery, and just sweet enough. I drizzle melted white chocolate chips over them- very pretty.

Doubly Delicious Peanut Butter Cookies

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES EVER! These are moist, creamy, rich, and most of all- PEANUT BUTTERY! I used the full amount of PB chips in the recipe and while you can't "roll" them into balls because the chips fall out, you can easily form them into the cookies. Mine took 12 minutes to cook but even ones i thought were undercooked and then overcooked turned out DELICIOUS.

Chai Butter Cookies

This recipe was INCREDIBLE! My best friend loves chai so i made the homemade chai and these cookies for christmas. She loved them, as did I! They resemble a gingersnap but are not as crisp, and they have a very original flavor to them that is just like chai! The only thing i changed was not squashing the cookies with fork tongs as they looked prettier spreading out themselves, and i baked them 15 minutes. You MUST try these cookies and the chai tea mix in this recipe!
