Creamed Spinach

Quick and delicious flavor, but I had to add just a touch of seasoned salt. Will make again, but next time maybe a dash or two of Tony Chachere's creole seasoning. :)

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Tender Tomato Chicken Breasts

We really enjoyed this comfort food dish. It was easy to prepare in a short amount of time with an appetizing blend of flavors. The only thing I adjusted was the amount of pepper using 1/2 the amount the recipe calls for per personal tastes, and served the portions over a bed of rice.

Basic Beef Stock

A keeper. I picked up beef shank bones and beef neck bones from my local butcher (very inexpensive). The neckbones had meat on them whereas the shanks were mostly just bone. Roasting at a lower temp for several hours is just what I did. Not wanting the onion and carrots to blacken, i removed those after the first hour of roasting and saved in the fridge until time to simmer. I shopped specifically for preparing this recipe, and glad I planned ahead. The end result was magnificant.. a well-rounded robust stock with the perfect flavor. This recipe yielded the full 8 cups (2 quarts). Next time I will double this recipe (using a 12quart stock pot) to yield a gallon. Gotta make sure you leave it covered while it simmers, otherwise all your good stock will evaporate. Strawberry Twinkie Dessert

Made this for valentines. Great dessert for the raving Twinkie fan, but like someone else stated, it had a bit of the "processed" taste. While that's not a bad thing, personally, I would love to try this with a homemade sponge, pound or angel food cake... perhaps devils food cake with garnishes of chocolate curls atop the strawberries. Very versatile recipe.

Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps

F A B U L O U S versatile basic recipe.. I went a little beyond plain cream cheese by folding in a shredded mexican cheese blend, a dash of worcestershire, garlic & onion powder to make a tasty cream cheese mixture to stuff the peppers. Cheers! They were awesome! No leftovers here and the family is begging for more.

Red Potato Salad

What really made this salad complete for my family was the addition of crispy crumbled bacon pieces. Without the bacon, it's still one of the most fabulous potato salad recipes I've ever tried.

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

Simple, fun, delicious and healthy way to cook your broccoli. There were no leftovers. The second time I used this recipe, I had a head of fresh cauliflower that needed to be used. I prepared it the same way and it was fabulous, and I'm sure there are other veggies this method would work well for also :)

BBQ Glazed Homemade Meatballs

Scaled the recipe to accommadate 18 servings, and served these as main course for a bit of a non-traditional easter meal. Not only were they fun to eat, they were delicious and went nicely with coleslaw, pasta salad and deviled eggs. Everyone loved them.

Cocktail Meatballs

This was perfect for our New Years Eve party. I am definitely making these again. I didn't have time to make homemade meatballs so I picked up a bag of 80-count Homestyle Meatballs from Walmart. Other than that, I followed the sauce recipe to the "T" - THEY WERE WONDERFUL!!! THANKS!
