Baked Slow Cooker Chicken
I used a 4.5 lb whole chicken that I skinned myself. I put quarter onions and garlic cloves in the cavity and put a few quartered onions in the bottom of the cooker w/foil. I seasoned very generously with rosemary, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, cracked pepper and salt. I cooked on high for 2 hours and low for 2 hours. The chicken was very tender and juicy. My only complaint was that it did fall apart when I tried to remove it. I will defintely make again.
