Green Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette
I made this salad on Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. I read other reviews that added sugar to the dressing which I planned on doing. Well, I was running short on time and so instead of the whole cranberries and sugar I just threw in some of the Cranberry sauce that I made(also from this site) into the blender with the rest of the dressing ingredients. It was SO GOOD!!!! I rarely eat a salad the next day but this salad never lost its wonderful flavor and I didn't even notice that the lettuce was wilted. I used crumbled gorgonzola(instead of bleu) and I did add craisins--which blended perfectly with the toasted almonds and red onion. Thanks so much!

Chai Tea Mix
Thank you for the wonderful Chai recipe. My whole family loved it. My husband and I even mix it in our morning coffee sometimes. I did cut the sugar down about a 1/2C per other reviewers suggestions. We like a lot of flavor and the spice amount is perfect, so be careful not to add too many extras. I wouldn't suggest skipping the cardamom, I think thats what makes Chai taste like...Chai. There are other good recipes to try on this site that call for cardamom so I think you could easily use it again. I made Kulfi(as a dessert with my Indian menu) and it was really good and used cardamom.

Hot Chocolate Mix I
I mainly like this recipe because it is one of the only Hot Chocolate recipes that doesn't contain confectioners sugar or Nestle Quik. I really do not like the taste of confectioners sugar when it is mixed with hot water and would rather not have my kids drinking the Quik too often. I agree with some other reviewers that if your hot chocolate tastes watery it needs more mix. When I make hot cocoa for my kids I add about 3-4Tbl mix/cup and boiling water--mix it well--and then cool it down by adding some cold milk. It is creamy and delicious. The kids even make it themselves with the hot water from the water dispenser and milk. This recipe must be put through either blender/foodprocessor/coffee grinder. Thanks for this easy recipe!
