I've made this several times; for a larger group and also for just me and my SO. When I make a smaller roast, I just toss in veggies and it's a whole meal! Everyone who's had this recipe has loved it, and been surprised at how easy it was to make.

Ken's Spicy Curry Chicken

I'm pretty sure I used a curry paste that ruined the recipe. For whatever reason, all I could taste was coconut milk and the ingredients - no curry in the sauce, even though I used the correct amount. I'd also cut the coconut milk in half, and added red pepper flakes, but that didn't help. Will not make it again, as I'm not sure what I could do to correct it. It's a mystery!

Hot Spiced Cider

VERY popular recipe for us! Like others, I opted for a slow cooker instead of the coffe maker. Just tossed everything in, set it on low, and let it warm for a few hours. I cut the brown sugar in half, as I thought it would have enough flavor without more sugar. It was perfect.

Best Carrot Cake Ever

I made this cake to bring to my parents' house, and impressed them with my first attempt! Very good. I might reduce the raisins a bit next time, though.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

My boyfriend swore he didn't like Teriyaki until he tried this recipe! The extra sauce was good with rice/veggies. If you happen to buy chicken thighs with the skin on them, make SURE you remove it before you start baking the chicken. If you don't, it'll get black and crusty. Very good otherwise!

German Chocolate Cake III

My boyfriend's favorite cake is German Chocolate, and he was absolutely in love with this one when I made it for his birthday. I've had to make it for him every year since!!
