Lemon Coconut Squares

This is fantastic. Tastes almost like a lemon pie. I added a tsp of lemon zest to my filling and also let it bake for 15 min before topping with the coconut. My final product has 3 distinct layers and is very yummy.

Perfect Recipe. Made it exactly as suggested. Per other reviewer baked until small cracks formed on top of cookie which was 9 min for my oven. Nice soft and chewy cookie. Thanks for sharing!!!!

Quick Brussels and Bacon

Just a short note from the author that in my original submission there was no olive oil. Just use a small amount of the bacon grease and also add salt and pepper to taste. Thanks for trying it!

This is an awesome recipe. Don't be fooled by the simple ingredients. The onions and seasoning perfectly enhance fresh green peas. Out of all the dishes I made for Thanksgiving this one recieved the most praise.

Asiago Dip with Crostini

The mayo overwhelmed this dip. In fact that is all I could taste. To rescue it I continued to add sour cream and asiago/parm cheese until it balanced out. It was better served cold.

Coconut Shrimp I

First time making it. My batter was a little thick and I chose very large shrimp which did not entirely cook through in a pan. They had to be placed in the oven. I'll learn from my mistakes and I'm sure next time they will be perfect.
