About this Cook
I love to try new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake dessert especially cookies at Christmas time.
My cooking tragedies
My first turkey for Thanksgiving. Bought it frozen the night before hoping that it would thaw by the next morning. It was nowhere near thawed when I put it into the oven. When the timer popped out the turkey was nice and golden brown on the outside but bloody and frozen when you cut into it.

Beef Barley Lentil Soup
This is okay. It needed alot of salt. I also added extra beef boullion, and some beef stock. I didn't like this enough to make it again.

The Best Unbaked Cherry Cheesecake Ever
MMMM, this was so good. I made it for my husbands birthday. He is normally not a sweet eater but he really enjoyed this.

Southern Chicken Fried Steak
I used chuck steak for this recipe. I also added garlic, oninon, paprika and cayenne. I still had no flavor to it. I had to drown it in country gravy.
