I was always into science and wanted to be a scientist, until I stumbled into cooking by mistake. I took a home ec. class and got really into it. It went from liking to cook, to liking to bake, to liking pastries, to cake baker and decorator. I work as a cake decorator and have a separate home business making wedding cakes. Now I use my love of science to experiment different flavors and techniques to make a better cakes.
My favorite things to cook
Food wise, I love everything. I am the type of person that doesn't like to eat the same thing everyday. But, what I really enjoy cooking is ethnic food. Indian, Latin, African, Asian; food with a kick. Since I am a Baker at heart, I really like to bake breads and cookies, and cakes. I enjoy making them and sharing with my friends and family.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family usually has a big family meal or "party" once a month. We all make a dish and talk and have a lot of fun.
