This place has made me a fantastic cook - It is now one of my passions! Thank you allrecipes! So far - the HALL OF FAME section is hard to beat. I wish I could see that list change from time to time - I think I have tried them all! I would love to cook a few Middle Eastern things for my Father who is from Iran - but have not tried any so far. I do not have many family cooking traditions but I am in the process of making them! All the Hall of Famers have been triumphs except the seafood stuff - (we are not fish people!) Trying to cook fish for my non-seafood family did not appreciate the effort at variety. I made a turkey one year that was SOOOOO dry that my husband refers to it as the "year of the dry turkey" We literally almost choked on it.
