Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Clone of a Cinnabon

The recipe was great. There was a bit of operator error so I'm still giving this 5 stars. I prepped these the night before and put them in the fridge. The next morning I put them in a cold oven set to 350 and baked for 22 minutes. The outer edges were a tad over done and the center was doughy. I baked these in a pyrex glass pan. Not sure where I went wrong but if they tasted this good even though they weren't baked right, I'm certainly willing to give this another go.

Very good. I did use Fresh Cilantro instead of Oregano and I sprinkled the chicken w/ some Chilie Powder. Yummy.

Caribbean Sweet Potato Salad

My DH hates potato salad but loves sweet potatoes so I thought I'd try this. It was a hit! He loved it! I did make some minor changes; I added a bit of cayenne to the dressing and a little sugar. I prepared this in the AM so at serving time I squeazed some more lime juice over the salad. (Note I reserve 5 stars for only to-die-for recipes so for most this would have received a 5)

German Sweet Chocolate Cake I

Excellent recipe. Follow Jay Eubanks' tips in his review and all will be fine. I was leary of melting the chocolate w/ the water, afraid it would seize. But it worked out beautifully. I did have to bake my cake for 54 minutes, at 30 it was still soupy in the middle. Otherwise, followed the recipe to a 'T' and it was well received by all. (BTW this is NOT the same recipe that is on the Baker's package. Close, but not the same.)

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Took this to a pot luck and it was easy and delicious. A hit with everyone, even my hubby who is not usually a sweet person. (He's a nice guy - just doesn't like sweets). Make sure you put them in the fridge to chill before cutting.

Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Crabmeat

This was pretty good. I made the recipe as written w/ the exception of browning them in the pan, then transfering to a baking sheet and finishing them off in a 350 oven for 25 min. Be sure to season the breasts and/or flour w/ salt & pepper.
