Blooming Onion and Dipping Sauce
Yummy! I did onion petals because I did not think is was worth the time to go thru the steps of a blooming onion, I tried battering just once, did not turn out that great, but on the 2nd batch I did the double batter and those turned out really good, so I recommend that highly. For the dipping sauce, I only used 1 & ½ tablespoons of horseradish sauce and that was plenty for my taste (it was still strong), I also added an extra ½ tablespoon of ketchup after tasting and an additional 1/3 teaspoon paprika for more color. REALLY GOOD STUFF.
