My favorite family cooking traditions
I like to use recipes handed down from me by my mom and step mom and then make them my own by tweaking them slightly.
My cooking tragedies
Baking cookies. Now, I can bake and make a mean dessert but cookies, never! Always burn them. Nevermind if they are made from scratch or a mix, always burn them. The only cookie I can make successfully is shortbread.

Zesty Chicken Meatloaf
Excellent recipe!! The only changes I made was I used 1 egg (not 2) and I added in some chopped onion and chopped mushrooms. Will definitely make again!

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars
Super yummy and so simple!!! I only made a couple of slight changes, like other reviewers, I reduced the butter to 3/4 cup and increased the peanut butter to 3/4 cup. So divine!!

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins
Fantastic recipe!! Haven't changed a thing except I always make it as a loaf instead of cupcakes and it turns out perfectly every time!
