Cranberry Oat Cookies
I love to bake cookies and have quite a bit of experience doing so as well as a reputation for making good cookies. I was extremely disappointed in this recipe. It was not what I was expecting at all. This recipe needs some portion readjusting. The one given here makes a dry cookie that is very bland and pasty. Way too many nuts and cranberries. I would change the following, based on a very delicious oatmeal-raisin recipe I have used for years: 3/4 c butter 1 c brown sugar 1/2 c granulated sugar 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda (keep cinnamon, salt, eggs same) 1 tsp vanilla 1 3/4 c flour 2 c old fashioned oats 3/4 c to 1 c cranberries 1 c white chocolate chips I think I will leave out the nuts, but if adding I would do 1/2 c instead of 1c. If you like a blander cookie, than by all means use the sugar called for here. But where I come from, bland and cookie are never used in the same sentence ;-)

Sweet Onion BBQ Burgers
I did not make the mayo sauce to go with it, as hubby hates mayo. I did spread BBQ sauce on both sides of the bun before putting them together. And I still got plenty of groans and moans as he was chowing down these burgers! They were outstanding!! In the words of my hubby, "These are a definite do-over".

Pumpkin Fluff Dip
YUMM!! DELICIOUS!! This recipe makes a TON so I recommend cutting it in half unless you plan on feeding about 50 people with it. Half the recipe would easily serve 20-30 as an appetizer. I served it with cinnamon graham sticks. It was a hit!
