About this Cook
Single gal that loves to have friends over to entertain
My favorite things to cook
My favorite thing to serve is the Classic Spanish Sangria from this site. Also everyone loves the Spicy Vodka Cream Sauce dish.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmothers potato salad. My mom was way ahead of her time..she was always cooking healthy for us when we were kids!
My cooking tragedies
Making surf and turf. The pan i used was bent and I started broiling it and all the grease/etc. went into the bottom of the stove and started smoking like crazy. I was trying to impress a date and we ended up having to open all the windows and hang our heads outside to breath. The next day we made frozen pizza and I forgot to take the cardboard off when I cooked it. That guy thought I was a mess. If he could only see me now!

Thai Chicken Pizza
Love this recipe...Didn't use Boboli, but pilsbury thin crust pizza dough. It came out fabulous, almost crossaint like. I also broiled the chicken. Yummy!

Becky's Chicken Salad
This is what happens when you change the recipe too much. We added onions and tomatoes. For some reason it was really soupy. It never really seemed to thicken. Less salt could be used also.

Dad's Pan-Fried Green Beans
An absolute favorite. YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY! And I don't even like veggies usually.
