Kicky Steak Strips with Rice
I made this recipe exactly as written and I thought it was good but not great. First off, the worcestershire sauce is the main taste so if you don't love that to begin with you won't like the dish all that much. This is probably why some reviews found it to have too much kick. I love worcestershire sauce so no problem for me. My 4 kids(all under 5) didn't complain about the dish one bit even though I don't usually make spicy foods. I however, feel the recipe could use a boost. Next time I am going to add some thin strips of carrots and maybe some red peppers to make it more like a stir fry dish. Also, I think I may try adding some brown sugar as suggested by other people. With the above changes I have a feeling the dish will be more interesting.
