I have been married for 20 years and have 2 teenagers. For the last year, I have rarely left the house because I have been caring for my ailing, bedridden mother-in-law. Since I am always home, most of my time is spent in the kitchen. Before I became home-bound, I enjoyed volunteering at a local historic site. Lately, I have been baking a lot of bread. I also enjoy baking cakes and cookies. There are way too many cooking tragedies to list! The most recent was 2 days ago when my bread dough did not rise.
