Grandma's Corn Chowder
It needed that little extra something so I chose to season with chicken stock powder instead of the salt. I also used 1 cup half and half and one cup low fat milk. I was a great texture and overall tasty. It's perfect on this damp, cold day!

Oatmeal Dinner Rolls
Mmmm, we're eating them right out of the oven! The humidity in the air plays a role in how much flour you need so I had to add 5 1/2 cups. It was still a sticky dough so I left it in the standup mixer bowl to rise. After the first rise I poured it onto a well floured counter and kneaded in just enough extra flour to handle. I used as little flour on my hands as I could to roll the balls. The rolls came out remarkably light and fluffy. Oh, and I left out the white sugar as I didn't want these too sweet. I will definitely make these again.

Never, Never Fail Pie Pastry
This is great! I needed a pastry to go on some Turkey Pot Pie filling, so I made this recipe leaving out the sweet stuff and added some butter. I cut triangles of dough, then baked them on a cookie sheet at 375F for about 15 mins till golden. I then placed them on individual portions of pot pie (restaurant trick). The pastry is flavorful and wonderfully flaky.
