About this Cook
I am a member of our local Lions Club. I have worked for the "phone company" for many years. I love camping, reading and gardening.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake cookies at Christmas. I try to make at least 2 dozen different types along with fudge and other candies. I also love to try new appetizers. I also like to try new Italian and Mexican recipes. I always go back to the Lasagna recipe handed down within my family.
My cooking triumphs
My husband and I made lobster stuffed filet mignon with a light sauce for Christmas one year. The entire family enjoyed it!
My cooking tragedies
Hah! First don't try and follow a new recipe while someone is talking and distracting you.

Vidalia Casserole
This was a great recipe! I was looking for a different side dish and this was it. Didn't change 1 thing! Everyone at the dinner enjoyed it.

Corned Beef Roast
I made this 3/17/08. I believe I have found the recipe for me! I added cabbage during the last 1 1/2 hours. This turned out awesome. This was by far the best corned beef I have ever made. My husband really liked it and made sure he got the leftovers!
