Sesame Tilapia
About this Cook
I grew up in the kitchen, my parents ran vegetarian restaurants. My cooking ability was nurtured by my Grandma, who came here from Italy when she was 16. Her picture hangs in my kitchen as inspiration. She is the most amazing cook and beautiful person! I married a Southern guy whose Grandma was the Southern version of my own in the kitchen. I will forever be grateful for trusting me with her secrets. I've learned from the best!

Sesame Tilapia
Perfect recipe for Tilapia! I marinated in ziplock bag, per other's suggestions. I ran out of sesame oil and only had just over 1/8 cup for 4 fillets - was totally fine and will make it the same way next time. Paired with Homemade Basil noodles and topped with wilted baby spinach and toasted almonds. My husband called it a "gourmet restaurant quality meal!" Thanks for the recipe!

Fruited Curry Chicken Salad
Served this for a brunch after my son's christening. Big hit! I shredded the chicken for a smoother texture. Will make again!

Corn and Black Bean Salad
Finally, I found the perfect side dish for mexican night! I roasted a red pepper, peeled, diced it, and added it to the salad. I think the sweetness of the red pepper was a real compliment to the salad, and made it look gorgeous! I only had two hours to marinade the salad and it still tasted just great.
