I am a stay-at-home Mom of 2 boys, ages 8 and 10 and a foster mom to newborns. My husband is "particular" about what he eats while I'll try anything! All 3 of them, though, love my Swedish pancakes. I love to bake. I like making cookies with my boys and sharing them with the neighbors. I also adore making soup! And I get great fulfillment making meals for families going through a tough time (illness, death, etc.) My lineage is 100% Swedish, so I love Swedish food. Korv, Swedish pancakes, lutefisk, creamed beans. My husband jokes that I can take any food and drown it in a cream sauce --- to which I say, "and what's wrong with that?" Italian Wedding Soup. I never even heard of it till I moved to Western Pennsylvania 10 years ago, but now I make the best! I got the recipe from my dear Aunt Anne and it has since been published in a magazine and a cookbook. Too many to mention. I tend to try to "tweak" the recipes and more than once we've had to call out for pizza delivery while I dump all my hard work in the trash can.
