Im a stay at home mom with 2 boys, almost 18 and 12, im really involved with the PTA, been on the board for over 13 years, and love it, im married now for almost 17 years and we have been together for 19 years.
My favorite things to cook
Im more into baking, specially in the fall and winter, pumpkin cookies are my favorite to bake, a special recipie from my mom, and a wonderful pumpkin bread I found on this website.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our traditions are every Sept and Oct we make the pumpkin cookies and the pumpkin bread, I make them for us and for all my friends and teachers.
My cooking triumphs
I really dont have any cooking triumphs...lol
My cooking tragedies
There have been a few, I have made a few things off here that didnt turn out too well.

Rosettes I
This was the first time I ever made rosette cookies, they turned out perfect, but the taste was terrible, I followed the recipe exactly too, they were very bland and not at all sweet, will definately look for a new recipe.

Classic Macaroni Salad
I made this recipe exactly how it states but added egg, had it at my party on sat, and the only one who ate some was my hubby, and he told me it was good, I think he was only saying it to make me feel good since the whole bowl was left there totally full, I dont like macaroni salad, so I couldnt try it, dont take my rating to heart, this got totally good ratings so maybe the people I had over, just didnt like macaroni salad, cause the potato sald I had here had mostly the same ingriedients, but potatoes instead of macaroni, so maybe that was it :)

Sour Cream Cucumber Salad
I followed this recipe to the T, all the people at my party loved it, but hubby said it needed more than the 1 tablespoon of vinegar, he added an extra cup and a half and then ate the rest of the bowl!
