Strange. Per other reviews, I used less dressing...somewhere between 1/4 and 1/3 of the bottle. The taste of the mixture by itself was pretty bad (sweet) but when you add the chips, cheese, etc., the sweet taste disappeared and it was not bad. I doubt I would make it again.

We didn't really care for this. Perhaps it would be different is I tried different brands of dressings since they all seem to taste a bit different.

Hot Lips Chicken

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

I liked this pancake recipe but hubby didn't. I think it is a good replacement for boxed mixes but hubby still prefers the stuff you get in the store. I did think that these didn't turn out quite as fluffy as a store bought mix does, but they still tasted good to me!

Chicken with Red Chile Sauce and Sausage (Pollo con Salsa Rojo y Chorizo)

We really didn't care for this. I had high hopes but it just was not suited to our tastes. The sauce was not spicy at all, but the flavour just tasted too much like the dried peppers.

Beef and Biscuit

Most of the family liked this. I only used four biscuits split in half to make the top layer and left off the bottom crust. I Other than that, I followed the recipe. Since there was less crust, I didn't get 10 servings out of this. I would say that I ended up with 5-6 servings total. Thanks for sharing!

Chocolate Chip Mini-Muffins

I was looking for a substitute for the mini Hostess muffins that I had been buying so I tried this recipe. They were good, but didn't taste like the Hostess ones. They had more of a yellow cake taste to them. They were not bad, just not what I was looking for.

Slow Cooker Latin Chicken

Not bad. It won't become a favourite but I will probably make it again sometime. Next time I will leave the sweet potato out. We all agreed that it was a bit odd in the dish and just didn't seem to fit well.

Bourbon Chicken Dish

I only used one can of cream of chicken and no cream of celery. I also used more cheese...probably about a cup of a parmasan blend. I also mixed the burbon (maybe a tablespoon or so..I didn't measure) in with the soup/chicken. I then melted the butter (about 1/4 cup) and mixed in bread crumbs in until it was crumbly. I added some garlic and onion powders then sprinkled it all over. It was pretty good! I will be making it again.

Pollo Fajitas

Easy and turned out better than I thought it would. While it was not overly flovourful, the chicken went very well with the peppers and onions I cooked it with. I thought that the marinade was going to make the chicken taste more like the soy sauce since that is all I could smell as I was putting it together. It ended up being just fine and I will use the marinade again.
