Chocolate Chip Mini-Muffins

I was looking for a substitute for the mini Hostess muffins that I had been buying so I tried this recipe. They were good, but didn't taste like the Hostess ones. They had more of a yellow cake taste to them. They were not bad, just not what I was looking for.

Slow Cooker Latin Chicken

Not bad. It won't become a favourite but I will probably make it again sometime. Next time I will leave the sweet potato out. We all agreed that it was a bit odd in the dish and just didn't seem to fit well.

Bourbon Chicken Dish

I only used one can of cream of chicken and no cream of celery. I also used more cheese...probably about a cup of a parmasan blend. I also mixed the burbon (maybe a tablespoon or so..I didn't measure) in with the soup/chicken. I then melted the butter (about 1/4 cup) and mixed in bread crumbs in until it was crumbly. I added some garlic and onion powders then sprinkled it all over. It was pretty good! I will be making it again.

Pollo Fajitas

Easy and turned out better than I thought it would. While it was not overly flovourful, the chicken went very well with the peppers and onions I cooked it with. I thought that the marinade was going to make the chicken taste more like the soy sauce since that is all I could smell as I was putting it together. It ended up being just fine and I will use the marinade again.

Steak Tip Marinade

We didn't like this. Mostly it tasted like a wierd bbq sauce. Maybe it was just the style of bbq sauce that I used, but I won't be making this again. I really think that the success or failure of this depends on the bbq sauce that you use.

Asian Fire Meat

We all found this to be very salty from the large amount of soy sauce. The flavour was not bad, but it was just too salty. Next time, I think I will use less soy as well as drain the excess sauce before cooking.
