These were just ok. Nobody had seconds, nobody had leftovers (of which there were tons).

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2004
This was a very good, only slightly sweet stuffing. It is perfect for those who don't really like fruited stuffing because the apples are not at all overwhelming. I skipped the celery and water chestnuts. Everyone raved about this stuff. Next time I will cook the bacon separately first - it did not get as crisp as I would have preferrred. Also I made this with venison instead of beef and it was absolutely fabulous. We will have this stuffing again next year.

Cranberry Relish II

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2004
We made this for thanksgiving. It was my first stab at homemade relish. Boy was it simple and absolutely delicious! My kids raved about it and ate it for days. Even my husband who does not like cranberry relish really enjoyed this recipe. This will be an annual tradition!

Melt In Your Mouth Toffee

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2004
This is absolutely yummy! The only change I made was that I poured the toffee into my pan and *then* added the chocolate and nuts. Also I added a "nut topping" which is a mixed variety of already chopped nuts. I'm sure any nuts would be delicious. One thing I would do differently next time is to make sure I pour it into a big enough pan. Maybe even a jelly roll pan. My toffee ended up way too thick for my taste. A thinner toffee would be better, imo.

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2004
This is a funky recipe at the end. Not sure what the baking soda does but it sure was weird! Also the pulling apart with forks thing had me baffled. Instead I just tried to pour it thin and, as a result, I probably ended up with a slightly thicker peanut brittle but it was absolutely delicious!
