English Flapjack
Very disappointed! I'm not kidding, I've had to chisel these things out of the pan. I shall find a use for the remains, but not at all the chewy bars I've had in the UK. I suspect too much corn syrup and too much cooking time. I'll not make these again.

Tangy Red Cabbage
Used the exact ingredients but sauteed in a wok with the sauce after steaming cabbage. Served hot - excellent!

Italian Green Beans
Made just as recipe says using Newman's Own Balsamic Vinaigrette. Midway through, I threw in 2 cups cooked chicken, but the bean would've been lovely on their own. Excellent!
