Just me
About this Cook
I enjoy cooking, reading, Belly dancing, walking and spending time with family and friends. I am happily divorced, mother to none and Aunt to all. I am a cat owner of 3 very spoiled cats. I truly believe I am addicted to recipes and recipe books.
My favorite things to cook
depends on the season
My favorite family cooking traditions
This is new tradition for me.. I had a patient tell me years ago how she did May breakfast for her friends and family to order. She like me didn't have children. I pondered that thought for years and this year did the same. May breakfast to order. I served waffles, pancakes, eggs of every kind, several meats, chocolate fountain and several drinks.. The apple raisin frenchtoast strata and grand mimosa were a big hit.. The family and friends can't wait until next year, and neither can I. Just saw a simple quiche that may be added.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime I cook a meal and someone is happy with it is a triumph.
My cooking tragedies
My cooking tragedies always get hidden in the oven so my guest are unaware. last tragedy was a diabetic apple pie made with sweet and low.. tasted like metal.. I made 3 for a bake sale.. all 3 were tossed out. No one was allowed to taste it.. It didn't past my taste test..thats bad...lol
